Raised in Emmett, Idaho, Jaclyn’s professional ethos is deeply rooted in her Basque heritage and the values of her family. Imbued with a strong sense of hard work, resilience, and practicality from an early age, these attributes are evident in her legal practice today.
She obtained her undergraduate degree at California State University, Fullerton, where she was a four-year member of the women’s Division I soccer team. Jaclyn thereafter obtained her law degree at the University of Idaho. Her work ethic and determination—shaped and refined over years on the soccer field—helped land her post-law school clerkships with the Honorable Jim Jones of the Idaho Supreme Court, and later with the Honorable B. Lynn Winmill, then-Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the District of Idaho.
Outside of her professional commitments, Jaclyn enjoys all that Boise has to offer, alongside her husband and son.
