Loren Ipsen is an attorney with a career spanning several decades. His focus at E&B encompasses estate planning and probate, transactional real estate, and business litigation. Starting his professional journey in 1975 with Moffatt Thomas, Loren spent 17 years there before deciding to establish his own law firm, an endeavor that lasted for 9 years. Subsequently, Loren joined E&B. Loren has since applied his experience to business formations, commercial litigation, taxation, pensions, and ERISA cases.
Drawing from an undergraduate education at Harvard and furthered at Hastings College Law School, Loren crafts legal planning strategies, incorporating learnings from his own authored articles for the Idaho Law Review, Taxation for Lawyers and Accountants, and his co-authored work, Idaho Practical Probate.
Loren is a husband, father to three grown children, and grandfather to seven grandchildren. Two of his children have chosen the path of law, while the third graduated from Boise State to become a professional counselor.
