Kirsten Hahn is an attorney at Elam & Burke who thrives on variety in her practice. Her legal portfolio spans multiple areas including appellate, commercial litigation, business and employment law, real estate, and general civil defense litigation.

Kirsten’s journey in law began as a legal assistant in the Ada County prosecutor’s office and although her initial intent was to delve into criminal law, during law school her concentration shifted toward business law, secured transactions, and real estate. After graduating, she spent two years as a prosecuting attorney honing her case preparation, oral advocacy, and trial skills.

Her career path led her to Elam & Burke, where the diverse work and the firm’s openness and transparency struck a chord with her. She was particularly drawn to the high-quality attorneys and the wide variety of work handled by the firm, relishing the prospect of continual learning and varied experiences. The combination of engaging work, candid discussions, and transparent management made Elam & Burke an ideal professional home.

Kirsten is dedicated to using her professional skills for philanthropic efforts. Emphasizing her sense of social responsibility and humanitarianism, she serves as a volunteer attorney for Family Advocates, an organization dedicated to ending child abuse and keeping kids safe by empowering everyday people to protect and enrich the lives of youth.

When not practicing, Kirsten travels, unwinds on the golf course, and spends time with her family.
