Vee Bustos focuses her practice on business, employment, and complex commercial matters. Drawing on experience gained through multiple judicial clerkships, she has worked on employment, commercial litigation, and business-related matters, including disputes involving professional sports, healthcare providers, and business entities.

Before joining the firm, Vee served as a term clerk to the Honorable Michael P. Tribe on the Idaho Court of Appeals, where she drafted opinions and conducted legal analysis in civil and criminal matters. She previously clerked for the Honorable Benjamin Cluff and externed at the United States District Court for the District of Idaho for the Honorable Candy W. Dale. She also served as a term clerk to the Honorable Nancy Allf in Clark County District Court.

During law school, Vee focused her studies and practical experience on bankruptcy, business, and complex commercial matters. She competed in the Duberstein Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition in New York and worked on significant litigation matters, including Gruden v. NFL and Fremont Emergency Services v. United Health Group. As one of four national recipients of the ABA Business Law Section Diversity Clerkship, she gained early experience in high-profile commercial litigation and judicial decision-making.

Before law school, Vee worked as a compliance investigator with the Idaho Industrial Commission, where she investigated employment classification and labor compliance matters. Through that work, she gained practical experience analyzing employment issues, conducting investigations, and working within regulatory and administrative frameworks.

Originally from Russia, Vee moved to the United States at age 21. She earned her B.A., summa cum laude, in Criminal Justice Administration Management from Boise State University before earning her J.D. from the University of Idaho College of Law with an emphasis in business law. During law school, she served as a teaching assistant, volunteered with the Virtual Street Law Clinic, and presented CLE programs on arbitration and Idaho wills.

Outside of her practice, Vee enjoys spending time with her daughter, volunteering in her community, and exploring interests in gaming and anime.
