Jeffrey A. Thomson
Mr. Thomson joined the firm in 1987. His practice consists of banking law, insurance bad faith defense and first party insurance claims, insurance coverage, complex commercial litigation, and business law, and he heads the firm’s Appellate Section. Prior to joining Elam & Burke, Mr. Thomson served a two-year judicial clerkship for the Honorable J. Blaine Anderson, Circuit Judge, United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Mr. Thomson has authored several articles on securities arbitration and litigation practices and has spoken extensively on insurance and appellate issues.
Mr. Thomson enjoys hiking, mountain climbing, is a long-time Rotarian and serves on the Board of Stage Coach Theatre and Girl Scouts of Silver Sage Council. He is married and has one daughter.
