Mr. Armbruster practices primarily in municipal law, redevelopment work on behalf of urban renewal agencies, and municipal financing. He is responsible for supervising the provision of legal services to the Capital City Development Corporation, the Idaho Falls Urban Renewal Agency, the Jerome Urban Renewal Agency, the Ketchum Urban Renewal Agency, the Garden City Urban Renewal Agency, Heyburn Urban Renewal Agency, Jerome County Urban Renewal Agency and several others. He has been instrumental in the implementation of Idaho’s Urban Renewal Law and Economic Development Act, including numerous legislative efforts. He assisted in the formation of the Redevelopment Association of Idaho, the organization for many urban renewal agencies and continues to represent the Association.

Mr. Armbruster joined the firm in 1979. After graduating from law school, he worked for three years in the office of the Boise City Attorney and acted as Deputy City Attorney. Mr. Armbruster was born on the south side of Chicago in 1951 and was raised in a south Chicago suburb (thus, a White Sox fan). He is serving his 18th year as chairman of the Boise State University Bronco Athletic Association Endowment Committee. Mr. Armbruster is married, has two adult sons and three grandchildren.
