Mr. Oberrecht concentrates his practice in general commercial, employment, and construction law and litigation, state, federal, local government and private contract claims, business formation and dissolution, labor negotiation and litigation, and state administrative law. Mr. Oberrecht has extensive experience litigating before all levels of the Idaho courts including the Idaho Supreme Court; the federal district courts of Idaho, Colorado and Arizona; the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals; the United States Court of Federal Claims; and the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Oberrecht has frequently lectured on construction contract and claims issues, labor and employment law, and architect, accounting and engineering liability. He has  served as mediator for complex construction and commercial cases. Mr. Oberrecht has served as the Chairman of the Idaho State Bar Client Security Fund Committee and Special Ethics Investigator; has served as chairman of the Professional Conduct Board of the Idaho State Bar; is a current member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and the International Association of Defense Counsel; and is a member of the Employers Counsel Network, for which he is the co-editor of the monthly Idaho Employment Law Newsletter published by HR Hero, a division of BLR (Business & Legal Resources).
